apparently he is saying he has no control over transfers, the chairman having the say over them, and thinks his role as "manager" ought to be changed to "coach". If it's happening there then our thoughts about our present and recent coaches are not far from correct. I'd love to know how much sway DS has in transfers.
Yeah course if its happening at spurs must be here because every club has the same transfer policy...... not
He’ll be gone before the seasons out. Honestly don’t know why he’s stuck around so long. Clearly they have little/no real cash to spend due to the new ground.
He'll hand his notice in 24hrs before kick off and walk away having tapped a couple of players ready when he gets the Man Utd job when it all goes Pete Tony for the baby faced adding. Love to see Levy's face when it happens but he'll only have himself to blame. Spurs arn't that far away only need 2/3 new players.
I think they want him gone. Levy loves cash and will be really wanting a big compo package to come his way for him. Plus I think Spurs need a big turnover of players. These lads have been much the same for years now and for how much the likes of Kane, Ali, Eriksen etc get talked up they never win a thing. Time for them to change personnel and freshen things up.
Other similarities were that, language like "cashing in on an assett" have been used with players like trippier and Rose. I have no idea what their business model is but it sounds familiar.....wonder if they will now replace these 2 with younger, untried at this level players, who need coaching?
I think some coaches would prefer it this way. They simply coach the players and let the CEO's look after transfers and the hassle that goes with it.
