    It's a shame the names aren't on the shirts. I am at a loss most of the time as to who I'm looking at.

    Names and numbers will be constant once we start in the Championship. I quite like the old fashioned number and no logos.

    Makes you wonder how they managed in days of yore before players had their names
    on their shirts. My Dad used to collect team sheets as that was the only way you were
    able to differentiate one from the other.

    Shirts were numbered 1-11 and they didn't wear shorts, they were called knickers.
    Such was the anonymity of the officials, unless you looked at a team sheet, you hadn't got a clue as to who
    the referee and linesmen were. Those were the days.
