Previous to the 18/19 season we have seen good wingers that put great crosses in without any threat from the strikers.
And then times when we have had good strikers with no real threat from the wings.

Video clips show that we now have two wingers in Thomas and Mallik that are very good at putting telling crosses in.
We also have Woodrow and especially MOORE that will thrive on such build up play.

In other words - to get the best out of Thomas and Mallik - unless we find someone that has the same abilities of Moore (which is hard to find) we can’t let Moore go without a very similar type of player being brought in.

I was reading about Malik Nudge and evidently his preferred position is playing lone striker and it was Donny who played him as a winger. His versatility gives us more options I suppose.

    Malliks best position is wide.
Video clips of him last season shows him putting some great crosses in.
    Thomas videos shows the same.
If Moore does go ......... we need a striker of the same height, power and ability as him that can get on the end of those crosses.

In the previous few years we have seen what can happen - Hammill and Barnes putting fantastic crosses in with only Tommy Tappit Bradshaw in the middle.

And then McBurnie and Moore eventually brought in as strikers - only for Morais to decide NOT to play with wingers.
It needs the combination of both the wingers and the target man strikers.

How many times did Moore nod it in from a cross?

    Not very often.

    I think we're going a different way.

You can’t teach 6 foot 6 mate and because he’s got such a unique physical quality especially for our level, it’ll be unbelievably hard to replace him (unless it’s Tom Eaves who is also a big *******)
