All supermarkets do it, hoping people can't be bothered to check the price or aren't very good at maths. They make it as difficult as possible to work out which is the cheapest product. They ensure there's no standard method of pricing a unit of the product. If you're buying ham some will be labelled as price per 100gms, some price per kilo, some price per slice. They employ teams of people to cause this confusion.
Saw toothpaste at £5 a tube in Morrisons or 2 tubes for £4.99. I spent 10mins hanging around telling people (3 in the 10mins) who picked up one and started to walk away about the offer. I considered that my good deed for the day.
Morrisons last night... 75cl Pimms £13. Litre bottle £10. I know it's on offer but I do wonder if people do actually still go for the smaller bottle.
Seen it where if I've mentioned to some old lady its bogof . been turned down cos the 2nd one would go to waste. Especially in best b4 date. Put the other one in the food bank trolley. Sure it'll not go to waste.
