    Probably due to Nice being taken over by Jim Radcliffe, the powers that be at Barnsley will not wanting him sharing inside info with rival owners.

    Local papers media reporting that Alex Zheng one of the OGC Nice shareholders confirmed that papers were officially signed at 17.15 today for the takeover of the club.
    looks like the party has started on there website.
    GG was interviewed a few weeks ago said he wouldn't be walking out of the club and going back to Barnsley if the club was taken over.
    Also said he couldn't understood why all the fans hated him
    Seems frankly a very odd thing to say ,they hate the outgoing owners and he was brought in by them and is seen as doing saying there dirty work ,which guess is his job, same as any employee

    The Jim Radcliffe takeover is fronted by the old director/owner and chairman Jean-Pierre Rivère and Julien Fournier who walked out of the club and whose job GG took
    They said when they walked out they would be back with a buyer and Jim Radcliffe said they got in touch with him and asked for a meeting.

    If the signing was at 5.15 hes probably already been sacked or will be first thing monday morning

    He said that in that interview but obviously he was going to say that.
    saying if the club is taken over i will walk out and go back to my old job would have been about as unprofessionally as it gets.

    if that changes and he is sacked as he will be circumstances will have changed.

    Have Barnsley been waiting for the sale to go through to take him back ?
    does he even want to come back ,presume his family friends are in France.
    Or is this American guy coming and we are waiting for him to work his notice sort his stuff out before he comes ,although seems oddly long time if he is.
