Just a place for random Gold Cup updates if that's cool? It started tonight with Canada vs. Martinique, currently 1-0 to Canada at half time. I have to say Jonathan David looks a real good player, 5 goals in 5 games for Canada, just 19 years old. Here is a great preview of the tournament.
Stradivarius is rightly favourite but I have a feeling Cross Counter could be a lively challenger following his victories in the Melbourne Cup and the Dubai Gold Cup.
It's a welcome football post mate, always good to see what's happening elsewhere in the world rather than another political thread of people calling each other nobheads over 100 posts
So Jonathan David went onto to score again and Canada win 4-0 Mexico win 7-0 against Cuba which isn't surprising, very good team In group B Haiti win 2-1 against Bermuda in a real game of two halves, Bermuda could've had 3 or 4 before half time but then got dominated in the second half. Costa Rica win 4-0 against Nicaragua in another none surprising game. Haiti should qualify alongside them but not if they play like they did in that first half. Looking forward to tonight's games, Jamaica vs. Honduras should be competitive Thank you for the response @Spirit Ditch! Will be doing little recaps like this on my YT channel, they kinda suck because I'm not really one for making videos but just getting the tournament more out there.
