    Love the banter and discussion that goes on here on BBS but want to relish the success that this season has brought before we get down to the serious stuff of who's in , who's out and the host of other topics that will no doubt occupy us through the summer.
    Above all were all Reds fans and will be no matter what. from a few years ago when we looked like heading down to league 2 to going up and two visits to Wembley to relegation and losing most of our team, back we come again and show em what were made of...….Promotion at 1st attempt...
    Wish all the BBS crowd a great summer and look forward to next season cos it's gonna be BRILLIANT. cos we are Barnsley fc

    Don't think so mate. Closest I can think of would be 78/79 from 4th to 3rd, followed by 3rd to 2nd Division in 80/81
