Think he's in a very peculiar situation at the minute with us and Luton still battling it out for the title, so you can give him some space there.

That being said i don't think the congratulations will come after anyway, he doesn't seem that type of character.

Are Christians more likely to offer congratulations than us heathen types (I speak for myself in that description)?

Certainly not unchristian. But I don't think having faith makes you first in line to offer congratulations. Although maybe it does. To be honest, I haven't done the research.

You would think a good Christian would be only too happy to offer congratulations to his former teammates and fans but some Christians have slighly inclusive beliefs or are not actually nice people despite their professed faith so its not a given - for example a large percentage of Trump supporters would claim to be Christians but its hard to reconcile that with loving your neighbours and being kind and compassionate to them.

Not a dig at Moncur by the way I dont know how active he is on social media and I dont see why we should expect him to congratulate us - it would be a nice guesture though

What is a "good Christian" anyway? I mean if they are following the teachings of the bible there is some fairly nasty stuff in there.

I had a search for his account (Think it was @g_monkz or similar) last night and couldn't find it. I seem to recall hearing that he and his missus had hidden their accounts a while back because of some of the abuse they'd received.

There is in the Old testament thats for sure but if you look at the life and teachings of Christ himself - which is who Christians are professing to follow most of it would put you in the good person bracket - ( some of Pauls teaching in the New testament is a bit iffy as well mind - especially on how women should be treated )

I think all this good Christian stuff must be catching on.
Because, on Tuesday night, for a few hours, I actually forgave Joey Barton and Darragh MacAnthony for being total bell ends.
