Well battled boys. It's all a bit quiet on here considering today's result and Sunderland's loss. I presume the lads who were smashing their keyboards to shreds last week will be on here soon congratulating the boys. On a side note, hope Lindsay isn't too badley injured. We were a shambles on set pieces without him.
Yes we got the result and all of them battled well. I have been concerned with mama lately, he seems depressed and despondent. Twice he had good cut back opportunities to feed Woodrow, and elected to shoot from crap positions. Very selfish. The one time he DID do it properly he created the goal for Mcgheegan Jackson was very obviously short of match sharpness and was well at fault for their second goal, beaten at the far post. I thought Bahre did well too, and Brownie was excellent Overall a little nervous, but we still produced 17 attempts and we far better than the opposition It may be that our little run of poor form is over. Win the last 4 and we are up
That could be the most vital part imo. Hopefully it is, after the Pompey/Sunderland game it could be in our hands again. Automatic is a must because Charlton and Coventry are flying at the minute
I must admit it was a bit of a downer seeing Sunderland on level points last week with two games in hand . Their draw with Burton which although saw them go above us was a bit of respite and now their game in hand if they capitalise will only put them one point in front . That from Despair of last week where I thought they could go six points above was a bit of a tonic to say the least .
Very good first half and very scrappy second half.Shrewsbury have picked up lately so it won’t be easy but we owe them one.
Don’t bother yourself with Coventry they ain’t going nowhere in the playoffs week except their hols .
