Would we have taken the playoffs?

The board have let Stendel down. Must be heart destroying watching a board sell players from under your feet when you are trying your best to get promotion. On top of that they never got anyone in to replace them.
Next year we could not only lose players but could lose Stendel
Our dogmatic youth plan is not be all and end all. We need to bring in one or two old heads to gel the young lads.
These young lads have suddenly found out they are not invincible and there confidence has gone.
Hope I am wrong but I cannot see us winning most of the games left. The board need to concentrate on Barnsley and chuff Nice and the rest. Put up or shut up they are in Yorkshire now and we do not take pillocking from no one

 

I wanted automatic promotion. Relatively settled young squad that was only going to better & bookies favourites.

I said pre-season I thought we were only a decent holding midfielder away from winning the league & we got him in Dougall.

I think we’ve thrown it away with not having a proven back up striker & selling Potts & Moncur in January

I would have personally took play offs and many on here thought we would struggle a squad with a losing mentally who 2 managers failed to get the best out of these players previous season. Our better players this season.
Davies- got pelters last season he was poor at times but some on here questioned wether he was good enough for league one.

Pinnock- we never knew if he would have been good enough for league one as we hardly saw him last season through not been given a opportunity then a injury in training and jose never picked him.

Mowatt- no one expected him to have the season he has.

Potts another who got dogs abuse last season no wonder he wanted out when pne came.

Cavare has been ripped to bits throughout the season on here even quoted as the worst full back in bfc history by 1 poster

Not to mention we have spent 60% of the season without moore or Woodrow. Injurys to dougall x2 pinnilos, fryers ect.
