They r not happy the mackems. Apparently accys pitch is awful. Joey barton said it also saturday bit of a qogmore (i cant spell). Rain and sleet expected tomorrow. Either way its a tough game or postponed and only free slot is between easter mondays game and the saturday . Do u want them to play of postponed?
Imho playing tomorrow 90 mins on awful pitch after 120 mins at wembley would be difficult for any team
I want them to play. No midweek break from now until the end of the season could be just too much for them.
From what I’ve seen of Stanley a heavy soddened quagmire of a pitch would affect their game more than Sunderland’s. They seem to be a team that like to keep the ball down. However, it will be a serious test to Sunderland’s fitness levels, or lets at least hope so.
I'm seriously contemplating paying the £12 to listen to SAFSEE commentary. They have so many midweek games that it feels worth it.
If you pay £12 do you get to watch it or is it one that because it was originally planned for a Saturday you cant watch the live stream in the UK
Sod that stick £12 on Sunderland to win. That’s usually a surefire way of stopping a result coming in my experience
Audio only for me: I don't have a TV License and I'm not giving Crapita any reason to break the door down. Technically the stream counts as live TV (I assume) and so I can't access it without the BBC goons theoretically bothering me. I'd assume you can watch it, though. It was supposed to be a Saturday game but no longer is. Surely that means it's live on iFollow? I think I was wrong about £12. The audio service is a monthly subscription which costs under a fiver. When I looked on Sunday it was talking about 12 quid, I think, but I either misunderstood or it has changed.
I thought about going to Fleetwood v Sunderland in the last week of the season. It's SUCH a ball-ache to get tickets for Sunderland matches, though. Fleetwood's 'Onward' ticket is complicated, costs £50+, and I ain't sure what you get for it. I'm not sure what the response would be even if I prove I'm a Barnsley fan. I can understand why they might think it's irregular and refuse to let me in. And I don't like Fleetwood after one of their stewards more-or-less put his finger up my &rse earlier in the season!
Very small capacity as well. No doubt Sunderland fans will be looking to buy tickets in the home sections as well. I hope they drop on the same steward and he fingers them all on the way into the ground.
It was figurative. I ignore the couple of letters I get a month, and I'll tell them to get a court order if they want access to my property.
I say they play. Game abandoned after 88mins due to dangerous conditions and have to replay again midweek.
