Just watched the video of Stendel at Alton Towers. Brilliant that we're getting this kind of exposure to enjoy, along with the Sky Bet video from last week. Makes me really proud of being a Barnsley fan right now (don't come at me with doom mongering because it means we'll lose our Head Coach and players!). Got me thinking how much success we've had in this area the last two years. Not just from external coverage, but also some of the content provided by our own media team. The pre-match snippets, the post match reviews, picking out gifs of celebrations or some of our skill/passing moves. And then the season ticket video made with Graft that launched yesterday or the day before. So much to be positive about. The majority probably take it for granted, but looking at other teams at our level I feel like we're definitely leading the pack. Add in the random bits like Toby Tyke at TImes Square and on The Last Leg, and the positive PR from various situations that we've supported really well, and you'd be hard pressed to say we're not improving off the field. Potential fanzone as well next season, live bands pre-game, etc. If we can secure that second promotion spot this season, and keep hold of all the passionate people working at the club, something tells me we'll be more than alright over the next few years.
