Passed away today. A fascinating figure in that he went from teen idol to experimental musician. A tremendous innovator and one of the richest and finest voices I've ever heard. I'll offer this which is definitely in my top three funky anti-Stalinist dictatorship songs ever. RIP Scott.

Incredibly sad news. He only seemed to get younger with age.

BBC 6 music have put together lots this afternoon to commemorate him for anyone who's interested.

Another one to mourn on the dog walk.

Scott Walker went weird but was often wonderful. And that voice was as majestic as any you'll ever hear.

I wallowed in "My Death". Now for him, like Bowie, it has come to pass.
