I do apologise for stating the obvious and thus upsetting you. I hope we do go up, moreso for your sake than anything else.
Yes and no. Of course I want to go up automatically but to get 5 points in a heavy week with 2 top 6 opposition and the number of injuries/suspensions is good. We are still.second and can pile the pressure on. Remember the mess they made of their games in hand last time?
It's not obvious. It's obvious to the negative arsewipes who can't wait to have a go at the club. That sit in their seat watching us, waiting for a mistake. Waiting for that one error, to them come on the BBS with a raging hard on, sat in their vests eating a pot noodle and have a go at the club. It's pathetic. We've got 75 points from 38 games. If that's not good enough for you I suggest you go and watch Man City.
We can only try and do our best with what we have available and we have. I see, you're one of those that like to try and antagonise and stir up an argument online. Fair enough. Enjoy your pot noodle.
I'm not stirring anything up you weirdo. I'm one of those who have enjoyed watching us this season. It's been brilliant from start to finish. Negative fans wind me up though. People who can't wait to criticise the club. You're a disgrace if you aren't behind the club and enjoying every minute of this season and the side we've put together. Pathetic
You're attacking me, over absolutely nothing. It's verbal abuse. I made a point, an honest one, and not a negative one. You've taken that how you want and run with it. I'll leave you to your evening as I have better things to do than engage in nonsense like this.
In the last 2 months Sunderland have played 1 team in the top 6 - us. We've played 3. They've had easier fixtures in that time than us. That's my point.
That's a fair point, but you could argue playing 3 promotion rivals in the last few weeks has taken more of a toll on our squad than a Sunderland side who've played fewer games and against lighter opposition. Anyway - whoever goes up will have done it on merit whether that's us or Sunderland. It's just getting into squeaky bum territory.
Keep calm mes amies. We are through the most difficult week of our season. Played three, won one, drew two, managed five points with a severely depleted squad. Watch us go when we get Cameron and Jacob back in the side. We are ideally placed. Agree with Mark Lawrensons statement at lunchtime today " the pressure is less intense when you are chasing and not leading the league". That pressure told on the Hatters today and they are bound to drop more points between now and May. Same goes for Sunderland. Tricky Cup final against Portsmouth and they look to have seven games that could be potential "banana skins." They play Coventry at home who are in seventh place one point behind Donny in sixth, who they also have to play at the SOL. Portsmouth at home will also be tricky. Away from home , I think Accrington will give them a game, as will Peterborough who are now eighth two points adrift of the play offs, Fleetwood are tenth and five adrift will not be easy either. One game they could easily lose is Southend away. They are in twentieth place and are only out of the drop zone above Walsall on goal difference. Come the Sunderland game ,let's hope they are fighting to retain their League One status.!
