2 conceded in 8 games - an incredible stat. Our defence could be the deciding factor

Defence has been outstanding since Xmas. Odd screw up but that's what you get when you play football out of defence. Pinilos my mom tonight.

Lindsay for me with Pinillos close second. Defender and keeper's nightmare this weather too.

although Davies had literally one save to make, which was a clearance anyway thought he did well

An whole twelve months without a home defeat. The first team all season to shut out Sunderland. Promotion is still in our own hands too. A lot to be happy about tonight.

Our defence has been excellent all season but the last couple of months, it’s been on another level. I think the midfield and strikers working hard in front of them helps too.

Overall, we should be very proud of our goals against column.

Really? What about the shot he tipped round the post?

5 clean sheets on the spin and we still can't wait to have a pop at Davies. Incredible.

Cracking save in the first half when he tipped round the post. Good distribution (which is his major negative) in difficult conditions.

    But aye, he's *****

Never had a pop at him - his record at this level is incredible.

He pushed one around the post in the first half. It was a good save as well.

He made the save of the night in the first half. Their keeper had more to do but many of our shots were straight at him whereas the Davies save was at full stretch and was going in had he not made the save. Brilliant from Davies.

Sorry - didn't mean it that way - I rate him - he's done well for us in this league. Safest defence we've had for years

That save from Davies last neet was top drawer and kept us level, whilst I have given Adam some stick in the past ( deservedly in my opinion) there are signs of improvement from him from his first attempt in this division. Keep it up , keep it out.

Anyone know our record for consecutive clean sheets and when was last time we kept 5 on the bounce?
