Like us Luton will drop some points before the end of the season - we just need to make sure it’s at least 3 points more than us.

Whilst it was a weird celebration, that wasn't the case. The dug out is on the opposite side of the pitch. For some reason, rather than celebrate with our fans he just scored in front of, he decided to run half the pitch and do so in front of the Fleetwood fans. No idea why. He had been taken out by the touchline on half way about 10 minutes earlirr and copped some abuse from the fans there when he was on the ground, but that was on the other side of the pitch also. Unless he got lost. No idea...

One thing Barnsley fans have been saying that is very apparent though, he was absolutely knackered after 65 minutes. Hopefully its due to his lack of game time and his fitness will improve.

Sadly. He has no engine on him at all. Technically very good, but doesn't like the dirty side of the game. That's why he ended up being the benchwarmer as we couldn't rely on him to press. Hence why he likes the no10 role as he can hide there. Shame, given the application he'd have a shot at a high end Champ team, maybe even more.

I think George will do well for you - he does need others around him to press as he won’t do that side of the game well but on his day he is a match winner - which makes it a bit odd that we have given him to our rivals for the championship? Can’t fathom it out. He never really settled up here but without doubt has the quality to play in the championship

Good luck for the rest of the season - promotion looks an inevitability and it would be great if we both went up - Luton are the best side I have seen this year aside from us, and their consistency has been amazing

I would have liked to have seen float about more for Barnsley. In behind a striker unleashing shots and taking free-kicks. Threading balls through and other play making duties. He might have got near 22 goals for us then.

However, as is the Barnsley way you have mow the lawn and wash all the pots as well as all the duties you're paid to do.

Our off the ball game involves quite a high press, particularly those on the left and right of the diamond to get out to oppo wingers etc, so that could be an issue. He played 10 on Saturday with two ahead of him so didnt have to do a lot of it and his other appearances have been cameos off the bench. We'll see the more he plays I guess.

One major bonus, goals aside, is his set piece ability. We have Alan Sheehan with a wand of a left foot however he's been out of the side due to Pearson and Bradleys partnership. Jorge Grant had been taking them however after he was recalled by Forest it left us without a natural freekick and corner taker. We've now got that threat back as evidenced by his two freekick strikes already.

In terms of settling, he seems happier now he is back down south and knows Pelly, Potts, Stech and Lee from his West Ham days. Lee is supposedly his best mate too, so seems a more natural fit with us.

No idea how the season will play out from here. As a Luton fan Im pessimistic by nature and every game recently could think of a reason why we could lose it. Pompey being top, Wycombes time wasting, 1 fit striker at Shrewsbury, Fleetwoods strong arm tactics etc, however we keep coming through whilst Pompey and Sunderland are dropping points. Now we have two very winnable home games and could soon be at a point where I have to admit promotion might actually happen. You boys are by far the best side Ive seen us play this year, with the exception of Rochdale away which I can only assume was flash in the pan, and can't see you not going up. Got family friends local to Barnsley so more agreeable than Sunderland or Pompey as an away day next year. Plus its good to see the likes of Cam and Woodrow doing well. Should be an interesting few months.

Fair play, makes a lot more sense now you've explained it

Wouldn't hold my breath about his fitness. Plenty of talent, but zero fitness. Constantly looked knackered
