    Got nowt against the lad, he was terrific first time round. Glad he's off the wage bill now & has a chance to start again.
    My feeling is he won't be much of an asset to Pompey this season.

    he is on loan to Portsmouth, quite often when player gets injured on loan he is returned to the parent club. So he could be returned to us.

    Says he's a doubt not that he's knackered his knee. Players are returned when they're crocked not when they have a niggle that may or may not stop them playing.

    Yes, it is a strong possibility if he gets a serious injury, but we are no worse off than we were before, if that is the case.
    No one was going to make an offer to buy him & pay him what he is on with us with his recent record.

    They can't cancel the loan though. Sure we may opt to bring him back so that our physios do the work because we trust them more but the loan cannot be terminated

    That's really bad luck. He was only saying last week that apart from a few weeks he's been fit to play all season. Now a week after joining a new club he's got a knock already.
