Do you think the club should do some kind of promotion deal for last 5 games, get the ground full to get us over the line, would love to see a packed stadium with atmosphere like Walsall playoff semi

Do I think they will? No - they rarely work and if we are doing well tickets will sell anyway.

Do I think they should? If I thought for a second they could do something to sell it out then yes - but the west stand will be 75% empty even if we charge a fiver - and we don’t ever use the north stand for home fans anymore. Little point.

No. If our home form this season doesn't get people paying to come at full price, nothing will. We've done perfectly fine with our home form on the crowds we have been getting. Our record I think is pretty poor when we put on offers that add thousands more than usual to our attendance. Crowds never go up enough to cover the drop in cost, so these offers probably always have us out of pocket when we aren't the richest club to start with. We are in the something for nothing generation. People shouldn't need a cheaper seat to want to support their club when they are doing so well.

I wouldn't be able to afford to go to all five, no matter how well we are doing, without some sort of offer. Never mind though. The people who have their season deal think there's no need.

Edit: There's midweek games among the five, which is the reason I don't have a season ticket. However we all have different reasons for not signing up for the season, so the idea would help some.

I'd be happy to see any incentive scheme which allows more Barnsley fans into our ground, especially in the closing stages of this season.

I reckon it's still overall a lot cheaper to buy a season ticket, even if you miss evening games.

And we should encourage with cheap entrance prices as many as possible to attend for the last few games. If we go up, there'll be some bitten by the bug and intent upon coming back next season. A minimal loss of revenue, if any at all, is neither here nor there.

I live in Germany for part of the year and miss loads of matches. I still have a season ticket though as it works out cheaper. I can't be arsed to dig out the calculations but it may be worth estimating it for next season, especially as pay-on-the-day prices may rise if we go up.

Absolutely not. We're playing great football, that should be incentive enough for people to get to the ground.

50/50 chance I will miss any midweek game. For example i won't be going to the Burton game. I still find my season pass great value.

Would be good if blackpool was a crunch game at the end for promotion and we did a fiver deal got the ground packed.

I've got my ST, it's great value. I would not be bothered one iota if the club announced that from now to the end of the season match day prices were £10 adults and £5 concessions.

Would it fill the ground and improve the atmosphere, who knows? I'd not be bothered in any case.

There are genuine fans who simply can't afford £20 odd pounds every fortnight (sometimes 2 a week) so occasionally it would be good to do a special price, but you'll never please everyone.

Without a doubt. Any new faces, especially youngsters, who come along to what would hopefully be a promotion run in are more likely to get the bug than at any other time.
If it brought in just 100 new fans for the future it would be well worth it.

Aren't you only allowed so many offers in a season? Sure we had same problem last year - how many have we done this year?,

As a season ticket holder it wouldn't bother me if the club were to offer cheap tickets but I do wonder if they will actually hook any new fans.

It probably would have worked for me this season with hindsight. There's usually too many midweek games - those which were scheduled anyway and rearranged ones due to weather, cup, TV etc - plus those occasions when you have to give a Saturday game a miss.
