The recruitment team have done a great job in finding this bright young coach. He's got this team playing some of the best football we've seen since the Premier League era. He had a talented bunch at his disposal but all credit to him for getting all of them to play at their best at the same time. Mowatt, McGeehan, Brown, Cavare, Thiam, Pinnock, Lindsay etc all seem to have improved under his guidance and he deserves credit for that. I realise we're in a lower league but some of the football on Saturday was breathtaking. He's also willing to change tack and it now looks like he knows his starting 11. 4-4-2 with Brown and Thiam on the wings. Dougall, Green, Hedges and Bahre are decent players to come off the bench. I love Stendels enthusiasm and passion for the game and he appears to like the town, the fans and I like the statement that when he's watching from the side lines, he's just like any other fan. I just hope we can keep him. Daniel Stendel is a red, is a red Daniel Stendel is a red, He loves Barnsley
Considering how English is still very much a 2nd language and he is learning about the 'English League way of playing in his 1st season here, his progress is remarkable. His enthusiasm rubs off but he clearly has much more than that in his arsenal. Enthusiasm, after all, didn't get Morais very far!
