Sorry, couldn’t care less. This version of manufactured and highly processed sport is just where the plastic prem is heading
Not really arsed about it generally but really enjoyed watching it, even if it wasn't a classic Would definitely like to understand the game more
Don't get it, never have, don't want to, each to their own but I just think a sport where grown men don military type camouflage cream to play a game where a big chunk of the match as stopped for whatever reason doesn't tickle my tuppance
I can't stand the sport so have never watched it but I heard a bit about it on the radio tonight and they were saying it was the worst Superbowl in history and could damage the game. What was so bad about it?
The defences won basically which made for quite a dull game from an action point of view. Very little long throws and catches or running down the field carrying the ball. The Rams quarterback had a nightmare. They passed the ball back to him and before he could throw it he had been chased back 10 yards and thrown to the ground (0retty much every time he got it).
One parallel they drew was it was like a game of park the bus boring football between two ultra defensive teams being 0-0 with no shots on target in the 75th minute. It's hard to translate that across to a game of American football.
It was full, I tried to watch it. I can’t say it’s like a 0-0 draw, as in a nil nil there’s fluid action for 90 minutes. In this it was stop start all the way through whilst they checked their dance move book. And as one team had a new book, no one knew what to do... half time show and stadium were alright though.
