… who treasures a bfc home win as much as England's win in Ireland today. International Rugby Union. England. The best game in the world. Though the heart will always be at home in Barnsley.
Much prefer rugby union to football. Quite a fantastic pair of wins today. Shame the cricket team have been appalling.
If I had to pick just one I would of course pick the Barnsley win. But I am delighted we got both. I am currently in France so Rugby a bit of a touchy subject for the locals Pretending Cricket doesn’t exist
In what way? I much prefer union as a spectacle. Think league is more attractive live and not on the telly.
I used to play rugby at school, but I was very insecure and extremely self conscious. Every time they had a scrum, I used to think they were talking about me.!
I like rugby union as well, but the flaw for me is that there is too much kicking for goal. Everything stops and we watch one bloke try and hit it over the sticks from 40 yards.
I'm not a big Rugby fan but I can watch Union whereas I just cannot watch league at all. The England win yesterday was a good result but nowhere near as important to me as Barnsley winning.
I must not be normal. Hate all sport, other than Football. Literally, every single sport. Would rather sit in the dark than watch anything other than football.
Julian Clary used to love Rugby at school , he always looked forward to seeing the oppositions tackle .
Great win that many didn't predict. The second favourites for the Six Nations beat the favourites. Therefore after just one game it's clear we will win the tournament and the next five games are to see who finishes second to us. The two favourites playing in the opening round of matches has killed the excitement and anticipation of the rest of the tournament. To drag out the eventual outcome it should have had us and Ireland beating everyone else and then meeting in the last match knowing it's winner takes all.
Devastated by that result. Swearing at the Radio all the way home...bloody Refs. Still cheered up by the mighty Cas getting the season off to a flyer on a Friday night. Watching Rugby (the proper sort where you have to be fit) on a Summer’s evening at the Jungle, having just had the best Fish n Chips in the Country, is a joy.
Rugby yawnion puts me to sleep, Ive tried to like it but I find it boring!. Rugby league however is a real mans game, and I love seeing Wakey & Cas kick the crap out of each other.
Not a big Rugby fan. Seems like an organised fight over the possession of an inflatable egg. Never played because I was scared of getting hurt Been in casualty a fair few time through playing cricket over the years though.
