My MP is Peter Bone. That's who represents my interests in parliament. So I hear you on the broken voting system.

Hmm he seems to represent everything I detest. Thankfully far enough away from me.

I don't think it does - You have a general idea of what each party stands for, and any manifesto is only going to change/tweek the odd thing.

I am sorry, it is my mistake. I know my father and his father voted Labour, and I share the same values, but **** it, I'll got out and vote BNP so I'm different.

You just continue to show what an utter ***** you are. You of all people know that there are a lot of posters on here on that don’t live in Barnsley. Yet you have to come out with the condescending and load of stereo- typical *****. Many People in Barnsley don’t vote Tory because of painful relatively recent life experience and not necessarily because of how forefathers vote. Really glad I don’t know you personally.

I have the philosophy that, like all other animals, we evolve through being naturally competitive. I therefore have no issue with people getting rich through the 'sweat of their brow'. I suppose that makes me lean towards being a capitalist over a Socialism. However, capitalism with compassion should always be foremost, whether it be through wealthy benefactors (which have always been around, e.g. from Titus Salt, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett) or the less common, legislation limiting the excesses of the greedy rich.
I have never believed in the ' "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" philosophy, however worthy, as it flies in the face of human nature . Without incentive, we would not evolve and improve. I suppose that makes me veer towards Conservatism with a small 'c'.
That does NOT mean I would put my mark anywhere near the 'Conservative' option on a ballot paper, nor could I support McDonnell's 'vision' of the UK economic future. As many have said, the political system , not just in the UK , but much of the World is broken.
Just one final point. All those, rightly pointing the finger at Government policy inequality with North South divide in funding, not to mention the pupil funding regional 'lottery', does this 'revelation' regarding Local authority funding, not prove 'once and for all' that the EU have been as ineffective as National Government when it comes to allocating OUR money. Good intentions mean nothing without effective and decisive action. The EU 'promised the Earth' after the Italian Earthquakes of 2016 and so far very little has materialised 'on the ground'

Still can't believe that anyone in their right mind would vote for Labour or the Tories..

If I had to make a choice between the two, god knows.. I suppose if I look back on personal circumstances, I've had more personal wealth under the Tories than when we had a Labour government thinking 78p per hour for a 37.5 hour week on the YTS was a fair deal.

I won’t vote Labour after Blair & Brown showed their true colours, as a ex miner I will never vote Tory. I am waiting to see what the Democrats and Veterans have to offer.

I guess it's the same the other way round.
20 year old millionaire in Chipping Norton: "I vote Conservative because of my father, and my father's father's money."

A vote for Labour would also be a vote to bankrupt the country under Corbyn..
