    It must have been close to the first bid received then. He went on the third of Jan, 2 days after playing 90 minutes for us. Things must have snowballed quickly.

    It's not like the old days, where you have to send a letter or a fax to get a response.

    It will all be done through email, there could easily have been 20 bids negotiated over a couple of hours.

    Early on in his interview on iFollow, Winkler refers to the fact everyone is training. Who is the player he mentions before Styles? It sounds like he says Matthew Wilkie?

    My understanding was that we turned down summer bids for Potts (& others) so we didn’t accept the “1st bid”!
