Ssssshhhhhhhhhhhh ...... as per Ssssshhhhhhhhhhhh ........ silence Sssssshhhhhhhhhh ....... can you hear the tumbleweed Mr Ganaye ???
Not sure I understand? There were plenty of complaints after Bradshaw went but we ended up stronger imho Let's see what Jan brings
im disappointed as well but lets see who we get in before we fully judge. was disappointed about bradshaw and then we got woodrow
More like a ‘very disappointed’ Nudger. NO not about the sale - we don’t yet know why he was sold and what the plans are. So we have to wait for that. Even if the club says ‘it was an offer we couldn’t refuse’ then at least that would be honest. But what I cannot accept is all this visible upset and yet the club says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !!! And this is a regular occurrence. And yes - this again drops straight on the doorstep of our clearly much loved CEO. Pathetic.
Sorry Gally .......... and to you Mr Ganaye. Apologies all round - I haven’t seen that posted. Although there isn’t much there on WHY he was sold. Will await the reinvestment with interest.
Obviously it doesn't put us in a good negotiating position to say too much at this stage with regards targets. Let's just hope there is a sound plan and its not just the start of another fire sale.
It’s good for you to say this - but it’s the CEO who should be reassuring the fans about the long term plans. Especially in light of what us Barnsley fans endured during the January 2017 disaster. That period is still very fresh in Barnsley fans memory. SUBSEQUENTLY WE NEED MORE FROM THE CEO. And no that’s not a personal dig at Ganaye - whoever is in charge at the club is clearly not saying enough. As I’ve said before Ganaye is just one of a long line of CEOs that just didn’t understand that fans need talking to - so that it can rally support. There’s only one CEO in my lifetime that understand the importance of regularly providing supporters with information and that was Mansford. As far as the supporters feeling close to the management of the club - that was a golden era for Barnsley. Ganaye (so far) is no different to the rest of them. But he’s not been there long. Let’s hope things change. Wishing him all the best wishes.
Wasn't there also an interview in the chron last week saying if we sold we’d use the money to strengthen? I'd like to hear a little bit more from him but it's pretty good when we do hear from him where as Mansford would often repeat himself. I’d argue GG, and his team, have done A lot this season to up his profile with our fans I would like to hear a LOT more from the owners however
Comedy gold. Creates a thread bemoaning lack of info from club yet hasn't checked the club website or the article on the BBS. I agree with you that we don't know what their intentions are and it is unsettling, but to repeat the same stuff about CEOs and Mansford is nauseating. Give me some examples of clubs- other than the gobshite at Peterborough- that constantly fill fans in on their intentions and why they're selling players? All clubs do what we do. Whilst I do not agree with the financial strategy, I don't think there is any blame to be laid at either Gauthier's or the owners' feet for media issues.
Remember financial constraints of a club in Division one is far different and more constrained than the Champoinship.Cash flow is limited to income and outgoings
Fully aware of FFP and financial prudence but that wasn't really the point of my comment. It is the constant comments about the CEO which is pathetic and coming across as trolling. Especially the more recent one than this. You'd expect 60-odd year olds to behave a bit more maturely on a public forum but apparently not so.
Correct however he's probably talking about % of turnover that can be spent on wages under scmp (70% for us this year)
