I've read a fair bit about them playing the ref etc.

I thought they were a good side, and gave it a good go. Never stopped trying to attack. I thought they contributed to a very enjoyable game.

Not a fan of Lyle Taylor throwing hissy fits, but I thought the way they played helped us really (until the last 15 at least).

Think I'd prefer to avoid them in the play offs, if we get there.

Agree, they look like a team that will stay the distance & get in the play offs.

Maybe. They can obviously play, but they let us play - no hard press - and I think that makes them vulnerable.

Much more spirit than Peterborough , they came out fighting in the second half. I'm really hoping we don't need to go through the playoffs. A win against Luton and we're really back in it as I think Pompey are slowing.

Agree. Home and away they would be hard to beat. As would Luton. Main reason I hope the board don’t rest on their laurels and realise that now is the time to strengthen. Really go for automatics but make us the best team in playoffs, and at worst a much better squad to run away with the league next year.

I concur. They look like they can play a bit. They had several out today as well. I think they will stay the course.

In fact, when you look at the table, there is a hell of a gap opening up between the top 7 and the rest. Its hard to see beyond the top 7 being anything other than what it is now. Just jostling for placing.

I didn’t ratethem today. Thought we went into standby mode in second half with an eye on Tuesdays game. Until the ref ‘gave’ them that free kick they never had a sniff.

They pressed us plenty at the valley and exposed the right full back channel superbly

The same Pompey that came from 2-1 down away at Fleetwood to win 5-2? Yeah, really tardy stuff.

Thought they were very average. Had one half chance that they took.

I didn't think they were overwhelming against us and they lost their away record before we've lost our home one. I think some of the steam has gone out of them.

They must have dropped a few points as after the Wycombe game according to one on here we had no chance of catching them with a 12 point gap now the gap is 6 points? And we play them in Feb.

I thought they were poor and very one dimensional. Two bigs lads up top who they lumped it up to increasingly as the game progressed.

Their number 4 (holding midfielder) **** himself every time Mowatt or McGeehan went anywhere near him.

Hence why I put a question mark there we have a game in hand over them and still have to play them. So best case that could make up 6 points.

Sounds like a red card changed the game there, still a impressive come back.
