As my boss used to say, principles are one thing, money is something entirely different. Nice lad, nice family, if someone offered you 12k a week what would you do? Turn it down?

Yes. I wouldn’t get out of bed for less than £250k per week.

Tbh at that age without the promise pretty regular first team games I would, none of the money is bad and you’re only young once

Do we have a sell on? If so it would be in our interests for him to do well.
I have nowt against the lad. I don't think the move has been the best for his career thus far, just like Winnall's move to Wendy.
Financially he'll be set up for life though.

Think we always have a sell on and so do all the other clubs. Standard terms these days

Great lad James. Offered life changing money, a long contract, to play at a club that do give youth a chance.

He’s now getting game time and hope he grabs it with both hands.

Find it odd that fans think it’s wrong to show interest in ex Barnsley players and wish them well, but each to their own. Always a few that are bitter to those that do well for themselves.
