Brilliant. Got seats in the Disabled Stand plus a signed photo of Woodrow. Just when he thought Christmas had come again, Kieffer Moore and Toby Tyke turned up to see him. Final touch was a free pork pie at half time! GG.....what a guy. What a Club. I’ll post a photo of him and KM here when I have figured out how. Oh, and thanks for asking.
That's wonderful to hear, chuffed for the little fella that he had a great day. We follow a great club in Barnsley. It's news like this that fans love to hear.
its good to see our players showing community spirit we are proud of them. I was also moved by the humane spirit of the Liverpool young player Alexander-Arnold, what a good heart the lad has... selfless and caring. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-46685018
I'm 73, suffered some **** in my time and it takes a lot to bring tears to my eyes. This did. I've been a Red for over 60 years, my Dad was and my Grandad was there when we won the FA Cup. I'm proud to hand the torch on to my daughter and to Daniel, my grandson. (By the way, I'm pissed, and it is only 6-30)
top man... and its wonderful the way the club are bonding with the community. I wish I could return to Hoyland where I was brought up (born in Barnsley Becketts hospital)... sadly career's won't allow it. But I am very proud of my roots and feel a great deal of warmth when stories like this come from the club. Its why I will always support/follow Barnsley no matter what tier of the FA they are in. Oh and do not apologise for being a bit squiffy ...its the season to be jolly(all year for me) ..... Just glad the club made the day special for you all.
