If we take the staffs word on Moore being ill to be true (and to be fair why wouldn’t we?) then how does he fit back into the team against Luton? We’ve played some of the best football without Moore in the team (Peterborough Away, Peterborough at home and Charlton) so would there be a big rush to get him back in? Of course on the other hand he’s an obvious attacking outlet that hardly anyone else in the league can provide and he’s our top scorer so on that basis would we be mad to leave him out when fully fit?
It's an interesting one, and a great conundrum for the manager to have. If we keep on playing well and winning then there's absolutely no reason to put him straight back in the team. However, it's a squad game these days, so I'm sure we'll see him before long. And while ever he's not starting, what an absolutely amazing option to have on the bench!
After today’s performances it would be harsh to drop Thiam or Bahre who would ordinarily be the candidates to drop out. Perhaps give McGeehan and Potts a rest and bring in Moore and Dougall? Moore and Woodrow up top and Thiam and Bahre on the wings? Although McGeehan will be desperate to play against his former team, Potts got a goal today and that team doesn’t give our full backs much protection against a strong team... Nice conundrum to have, mind.
it also raises the question of the Transfer window too. Will Barnsley do any business, I can only see new faces if some go out.
He shouldn’t have the right to walk back in the side now unless the head coach decides. He will have to fight for his place again.
Think we are gonna need loads of energy against Luton so a fit and hopefully refreshed Kieffer Moore comes straight back in for me.
