    I reckon the chances of seeing the email are pretty remote, but I can't see why Chris Powell would mention something like that to the press if it hadn't happened. The final score was 4-2 so it's irrelevant now but I couldn't resist popping on here and letting you all know.;)

    A Southend fan has submitted a request to the FA saying the tie should be replayed
    because if the goal had been allowed to stand, the final outcome could have been different.

    Which will be as unsuccessful as our 'goal' appeals were. I do wish some wouldn't do stuff like this, it just looks cheap.

    You are right , it would be embarrassing for you club , lets face it , if clubs wanted re matches every time a decision was wrong, then it would be farcical as mistakes are part of the game, no officials make them on purpose & sometimes they go with you & sometimes they don "t.
