    Not surprised. No doubt he'll get a fresh appointment before too long as some gullible chairman will believe that, despite evidence to the contrary, he's the answer to their team's plight.

    They are a bit of a basket case. Wouldn't be surprised if they go down this season.

    Given the teams he’s managed. I think he did as well as could. Southampton excepted.

    Not surprised really, despite the fact that Southampton seem intent on hindering their own progress through a lack of stability. Hughes made a mess of a decent set up at Stoke and then landed a decent job at Southampton. Just hasn't worked out although their side is distinctly average. Championship side next I would imagine for him.

    I was amazed when he got sacked at stoke but got straight in at Southampton.

    His win percentage at Man City and Blackburn wasn’t bad but since then, he’s been very poor. And it’s some time since those tenures.

    Surely he’s got to work his way back up to the premier league now.
