I'd certainly like to sign Hedges, if his fitness issues can be resolved. Moncur also, but I'd leave it to near the end of the season, if he can show some consistency. I can see why Mowatt was the first to sort out, given his form this season.

We're in a tricky position, we're aiming for promotion, but its not guaranteed, and the remaining players out of contract in the summer could all have question marks about them if we went up. But at present in this league, form decent cover and competition, while Davies is more solid than last year and undoubtedly first choice, but, are there better options?

I genuinely don't know what I'd do at this point. Hedges has potential, but he' started just a handful of times but made loads of cameos. Moncur, clearly has ability, but just can't hold down a regular place. Jackson seems to be 3rd choice and opportunities are currently fleeting. Cavare…. I'll not repeat myself on him. And Davies, stabilised but still quite shy and I think if we went up, I'd be looking for a new number 1.

I think i'd probably offer year deals with a year option for Moncur, Hedges and Davies. Maybe Jackson too, but I have a sneaking suspicion Lindsay may be the big sale in the next transfer window, and Jackson may then step in.

Big choices ahead for the management team.

I would honestly build a team around Mowatt, don’t know if people agree with me or not, that’s my opinion

    Don't disagree.

I'd build the team around Mowatt, Moore and Pinnock.

Good spine to a team that.

Throw in the likes of Potts, Woodrow, Lindsay, Dougall and we actually have a very good side

It is interesting that Stendel saw something in Mowatt that his previous managers and most of others didn't see, or is that he's just matured and got his head straight.

I would think both of them, as they have agreed the deal .

I don’t disagree that it maybe has taken some time to get back up to speed after being pushed to the fringes at Leeds but L1 is a big step down, which must help.

I think it's the latter. He won POY at Leeds and we obviously thought enough of him to bring him in.

I think what happened after that is probably part of his own doing, and he deserves the praise for sorting himself out

Need to keep hold of moore pinnock and Potts over January as I expect clubs will be sniffing for those 3.

Ref Davies, I’d be tempted to resign him, but look for another keeper as a potential first choice and throw the gauntlet down to Davies to step up. Worse case scenario he would make a good 2nd choice.
