You forgot to add in the long ball over the top every so often.

Doesn't sound good, Are there not enough runs being made up front?

We're playing it out to the central defenders who are more or less stood on the by line and trying to play football in our own half which results in us either kicking the ball out of play or getting caught in possession. Nothing like the style of play we started the season with.

We got away with it but it was frustrating to watch at times today.

Our passing at times today was atrocious.

I am wondering where the pressing and team is from the first few weeks. Because the last few weeks we look a totally different team. And worse for it.

I wasn't non too fussed about bradders leaving. But I think you have hit the nail on the head when you say he was so important to our style of play.

I never thought Bradshaw was a great striker. I think we got more for him than he was worth as a striker, but I think he was integral to the style of play we adopted in the first month of the season that saw us at our best in terms of both performance and results.

Apparently we still play the high press. I haven't seen any evidence of that since Bradshaw left. The opposition have adopted that style against us - Shrewsbury and Charlton took us to the cleaners by doing so - but we don't play that way anymore. We claim to, but we don't. We play one up front with little support, we concede the opposition's half of the field entirely to them and we play Lindsay to Pinncok to Lindsay to Pinnock to kicking it out of play when the opposition press us.

Our biggest issue seems to be a lack of speed both in terms of thought and movement. Still we are 4th with a game in hand. Can’t be all bad.

Happened quite a bit this season. You can play like that when you have quality players in defence, we dont. Ends up with us losing possession or hoofing it up field which Davies could do in the first place.
