    With all the negativity tonight, his performance has gone overlooked. As well as the sweet strike he generally ran our midfield. Always has time on the ball whether it's attacking or keeping a calm head in and around our own 18 yard box.

    Might be one to offer a new deal to if we're chucking the rest in the sea.

    Can't believe he's a free transfer next summer. Should have already been signed up.

    Hes said on multiple occasions that he doesn’t want to move and he’s wanting to sign a new contract with us. If we lose him on a free next summer it’ll be completely our fault and another good player lost for by not offering contracts soon enough.

    Very good laiker. Deserved his goal.

    I do wish he’d learn to at least play a five yard pass with his right foot though, he gets telegraphed as absolutely everything has to go on his left. I’m not expecting him to become two footed as such, but if he could at least do some basics he’d be much harder to defend against.

    According to the Chronicle he has been offered a new contract his agent has been brought in,and he is very happy at Barnsley and wants to stay.
