How experienced were there players though I don't know many of their players stefan Payne isn't exactly experienced most of his appernces have come at non league 2nd season in league one and a few sub appearances for us in championship
I keep saying to people that the officials in this league see us as 'Billy big ********' and hence don't like us, in the championship they have the attitude that we don't deserve to be in that League, hence they gone all the big decisions against us. It's a psychological things with them. We will never get a fair referee...
They always seem to favour the billy big ****** teams against us in the Championship. Maybe we should start acting like it in this league we might get better thought on.
We need to wise up and quickly. I agree Ref today was atrocious, but our naivety was all too apparent yet again. Mowatt stands in front of the ball at their free kick to buy us a bit of time, their player kicks it against him and he rightly gets a yellow card. Not long after that we get a free- kick their player stands in front and we have a moan at the ref instead of kicking the ball their player. I love honesty and sportsmanship but sometimes you’ve got to ‘play the game’ to get the decisions.
I'm not sure you have to be over 25 to play the referee I've seen ben Pearson ref a few games for Preston at oakwell.
