I’ve seen it a few times in the previous years where managers have had words with opposition players even outside their technical area and nothing was done about it though that’s the thing.

It was an inept performance last night by the referee and other teams are going to see that booting our players is going to have a detrimental effect on us. Where’s the deterrent if refs constantly perform this badly?

In the ref's defence he actually got that one right. It was right in front of me and Hedges dived when he should have crossed. It was pathetic at best.

If he's getting sent off for verbals then it shows his English is certainly improving :D

Or he called the ref a scheisse, or maybe an arschloch and the ref understood some rudimentary German

That's how I saw it. Too slow getting shut of the ball left him with a lack of options so he went for pot luck. Not too many complaints in our end either.

So he should. Can't win the draw if you don't buy a ticket. He also created chances and ran at them

He didn’t. I was stood at the pitch side level with where it happened. He definitely got tripped.

Didn't look like he complained much about the booking if he truly was tripped.

It was one of the most blatant dives I've ever seen.

So was the one their defender did when he was shielding the ball out of play 30 seconds earlier. Guess what? Freekick to Shrewsbury.

Did you not get the memo that we weren’t going to get anything out of that ref. Hence being 3-1 what’s the point. It wouldn’t have altered anything.
