I think you are the most negative person (regards football) on this forum, despite some stiff competition. I would never see it right however that you shouldn't or couldn't post as you see fit. It's a game of opinions. I like to read a variety, it's the spice of life. Don't take my likes as criticism. I merely find the OP's continuing crusade against you amusing. The OP isn't as negative about football, but his contributions are poorer, in my opinion. Because I dared to suggest in October of last year that we 'would be fine', he's perpetually brought that back up, claiming I said we'd stay up. It's obviously something he enjoys, taking someone's opinion from the past and replaying it constantly. Sadly, he's used against me, a bloke who will quite happily admit he knows nowt. I've been so wrong about football, footballers, managers over my 36 years that it's quite amazing I am employed in football.

Aside from football, I've often agreed with you. I also had a lot of time for Redstar, your pal. I'm friends on facebook with him actually, I like the bloke. He should return.

So you don't need to worry about me or what I think.

And before I read your post above, I was going to actually post that this is a bad thread. But then Toby would bring up something I once posted and would spoil my enjoyment of the beers I'm about to sup.

You follow this club up and down dale. The amount of time you spend on here talking about the club shows it matters. You'll do for me.

Why should it irk you if a poster has an opinion which gives food for thought? Just because someone views the squad differently to others doesn't make their point any less valid than anyone else's. To dig at someone and deliberately try to humiliate is not a very good line to take in my opinion..

 

I think that you will find that the OP sometimes holds you to account for being wrong.

Which you don't go on to admit to. But which you often are.

As far as Conan is concerned, I like his posts. But I have to correct them if they are wrong.

This is not a crusade. It's just that nobody else does it.

Go back and tell me whenever i have picked on him, and incorrectly taken him to task.

He's not wrong and you're not wrong... it's just opinions. You don't have to correct anything.

We don't know what would happen if this team played in the 2nd tier next season.

 

There's a difference in correcting opinions and correcting facts.

For example, I had no problem correcting our resident Cardiff Fan when he categorically stated that the takeover would not happen, that Bahre would not sign etc. That's just asking to get the piss taken out of you.

 

It's a matter of whether you want to have someone say that you should get rid of the team that you watch, or whether you want someone to hold him to account for such result when your team has won away 4-0 against the team second in the league.

 

Conan and I have had factual disagreements which it would be tedious to go into.

However it seems inappropriate for some reason today to draw attention to how, according to one of our posters, we should get rid of all our team because they're crap, when we win 4-0 away against the team second in the league.

I think you'll find that I've taken issue with your use of the words "trust me".

When it's been discovered that there's both no need to either use them, nor believe in them.

 

Not particularly, more that you won't let it drop and accept that someone has a different opinion to you.
