Shocking. I hate having a go and often stick up for their decisions on here but he was horrible. It must have really hurt him to book one of their players after getting away with so much. Ryan Taylor should never have avoided a booking. Moore got booked for a foul and the ref missed their player kicking out at him out of frustration. Missed a blatant back pass that he thought was a tackle. Booked Moncur for nothing.
Should have booked one of their players early on when Moncur nearly got away from him on the edge of their area. Booked us for fun.
Agreed. When their lad lashed out with his feet when Moore brought him down to get booked, I don't think many of our fans noticed. Be good to see it back as it should have been a certain booking for retaliation. Didn't seem to cope too well with the technical area skirmish either.
Well we're obviously so brilliant these days, that the refs take pity on our opponents and referee against us like a set of unfunny comedy circus clowns lol.
He seemed hell bent on them getting back into the game. They gave as good as they got, yet we were getting blown up for everything.
How he didn't given that back pass is beyond me. The defender intercepted the ball and played it back towards the keeper who then gathered it up. Terrible interpretation of the laws.
Agreed. Pinnilos is the only booking we got that probably should have been one. But then Fleetwood should have got more yellows than us, the back pass and touchline problems. Someone was joking on the way out that had heard he's at London Road next week.
Totally inconsistent yet again, booking our players for everything and then failing to book theirs. So many referees seem to think that because Moore is big, he somehow doesn't deserve decisions. Thankfully I don't think we've been cost any points yet but the standard of refereeing has been poor.
Barton was complaining in midweek about how bad refs have been to his team, saying how ex-pro's should be involved in decision making/referee boards. They've had three reds already this season. Could be the ref went easy on them to avoid fuss/more complaining? Crap if he did, but definitely possible.
