First half their number 7 had Cavare in his pocket and crosses from the Fleetwood left flank were raining in, thankfully mostly without the quality to do any damage. The manner of their goal came as no surprise, though.

That's cos Cavare can't defend. Not a fan.

I thought Fleetwood were decent and gave us a proper work out. They were game and moved the ball well, making it a hard earned win.

They have one of the most expensively assembled squads in this league, so not just here to make up the numbers.

Poor defending imo. Cavare struggled first half.

Cavare is one of a few that fanny about on the ball a bit too much. Dougal can get caught from time to time and Moncur today got caught whilst circumnavigating their whole team, and put us on the back foot.

We're much better when we let the ball do the work.

Seeing the highlights I think poor defending. Poor for letting him get the cross in and then especially poor with the ball rolling across our 6 yard box.

I thought our first 2 goals were very poor defending from their point of view too.

    ***** league init

Looks like we got off lightly when Davies came rushing out to punch the ball away... looked to be fairly well covered without him having to wade in. A slightly better shot from Fleetwood immediately after could've levelled it again.

I liked our last one though. Victor showed his strength and skill to set Thiam away. Also noticed Cam McGeehan getting into Box like a steam train looking for a possible rebound

More points and more goals away from home rather than at home so far. Early days of course, but I wonder if that will be the way of it this year.

Interesting point which I hadn’t noticed. Perhaps we fans should show a bit more positivity.........?

I think more teams will “sit in” against us at home and we’ll have to break them down whereas away games I’d hope opposition teams will attack us so we can exploit the gaps.

Peterborough must be the counter-attacking team par excellence. 5 away games so far this season, 5 wins, 17 goals scored. At home, less clear cut: won 2, drawn 2, lost 1.

Next Saturday will be interesting. Could be end-to-end stuff, two counter-attacking sides pitted against each other.

It will probably be 0-0 now I've said that.

That seems a very accurate assumption looking at those match results and the stats posted in another thread this morning.

I agree, I think it’s got goals written all over it. A high scoring win would do nicely, like a few years ago when we won 4-3 there.
