    But that's completely different. We might have been very lucky but we beat them fair and square. We didn't need a bent official to help us out. Goalkeepers are there to stop the other team scoring. Much like Luke Steele ten years later.

    I wasn't at the match, but I felt like I'd scored a ton before lunch v Aussies, scored a hat-trick (left footer from Trevor Aylott-esque distance, a right footed volley from further out than Barnard, and a header like Tony Cunningham v Fulham) and beat Tigger Woods 10 and 8 in the last Ryder Cup singles match to win the Ryder Cup for Europe.

    In reality my five-fold came in when we beat Bromsgrove 2-1 (£800+) thank you Rambo and Owen Blackadder and I did one or two fist pumps

    Same as every other fans - sat with them on many occasion as my daughter is a Liverpool. Have attended a few European nights and these have been great spectacles - attended league games and I could have been at any club to be fair

    The worst Ive personally encountered are Sheffield Wednesday, Tranmere Rovers, Cardiff and Millwall.

    The tickets were like oversized raffle tickets, anyone with a colour photocopier had dropped on. A bloke outside was selling a batch of them he had knocked up before the game, folk climbing trees behind the stand for a good view.

    We were on the pay on the day corner with a mix of Boro and reds . It were free for all with reds getting the worse of it . We managed to usher into family area eventually

    I did make that point in my post, just making the point re the Liverpool fans. I was actually sat in the Kop with 20 mates that I know through music when we won (on another day we could have lost by 5 or 6). They were very magnanimous in defeat. I also went to the Everton game away, too but we lost that one. All clubs have a certain percentage of nutters. We have more than our fair share.
