Private Members Bill to allow payments to see GPs.

    https://inews.co.uk/news/health/patients-pay-gps-new-bill/

Bear in mind, the person proposing this Bill is the same MP who blocked the Bill outlawing up-skirt photography!

What a man - is pro peeking at womens underwear regions and against a free NHS.

I wouldn’t mind a charge for people who don’t bother to keep their appointments, which cost the NHS in excess of £120/missed appointment.

Doesn’t cost the NHS, it costs the Dr’s surgery which is ran as an individual business. Missed appointments actually save the NHS money as they pay your Dr’s for kept appointments.

I'd say that anyone who stopped a law that would make up-skirting illegal was pro-upskirting.

He can say what he likes about due process, but if he cared about due process, he wouldn't then try to introduce his own PMBs.

    think you'll find they do
for example ,Missed appointments with GPs, practice nurses and other healthcare professionals cost the Fylde coast NHS up to £250,000 last month.
Selfish ( in most cases)and annoying

Education about our nhs is needed ie why you should go and see a GP

My missus is a GP and hours of her day are wasted by people going to her for ridiculous reasons ie sore throat after 3 days.

If the public were better educated it would make the service more efficient

GPS are ridiculously over worked at the moment and on the verge of collapse.

I wouldn’t be certain about that, if it’s heard at silly o’clock with not many members present maybe it could slip through. I could be showing my ignorance of procedural matters though.

Nope, Dr’s quote these figures because it costs them because they get paid for every appointment kept but don’t get paid for ones missed. All Dr’s surgeries are private businesses usually owned by the Dr’s who run it.
I know these cos my best M8 is an accountant for the NHS
