Any idea if Shepherd still goes to games? I remember he was always a fan even before he became chairman

Well, he, his wife and one of his sons used to sit in the seats near me in the Legend's suite up until I downgraded my season ticket to do Redfearn's bar.
Haven't been in for 5 seasons now so not sure if he's still going in but I think he had tickets in there since it first opened and still paid for them when he was Chairman.

No issue with Ridsdale really - we knew what we were getting when he took the role.

He nearly screwed Cardiff - BUT, he built the stadium and eventually got to the play-offs. He started what others finished, albeit leaving a large debt behind.

He’s now an advisor at Preston.

Did well at Leeds too really - again leaving a large debt behind. But no one complained when they were playing CL. To be fair, the debt they had then - he’d probably get away with it these days.

I’m sure he didn’t , he may have crossed swords with Patrick but I’m sure clubs finances were sound at the time.

No we were a million pounds in debt and Patrick paid most of that off out of his own pocket when he bought the club. Ridsdale was payed 1 million a year into his management company which was also run poorly and in debt. He basically funneled money out of the club for himself. Something he's done at also at leeds and cardiff.
