Less likely to be called off due to international call ups now?

 

You’d imagine so.

Shame that as I’ll miss the game if so, promised the lad I’d take him to England Spain. It’s his birthday on the Thursday, booked the tickets before the fixtures were out.

Was banking on them pulling it to be honest. That said it matters little as I’d likely miss the Tuesday game if it was rearranged in any case due to work.

 

I'm sure your lad will enjoy England Spain a lot more. League one will still be there the week after.

 

I hope it'll be on. We've got family coming over for the weekend and we sorted seats so we can all sit together.

 

I hope it is too, 50/50 chance I miss mid week games with work.

 

That will depend on how well they play I guess! We have STs but tend to have to miss the Tuesday games due to my working pattern so I’d not normally look to miss a Saturday home game though I guess we’ll cope. We are missing the Burton game on the 22nd too as we’re going on holiday.

He’s been to a couple of England games at Wembley already, he got the taste for HQ in the Oxford and Millwall games. Two pretty average performances against Malta (Southgate’s first game) and then the Italy friendly before the WC. Chose that over the Elland Road game.

Living in donny the trains are pretty good so it isn’t any hassle to get to. This time I’m driving down though, staying overnight in Watford with all the family and then taking them to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter thing on the Sunday.

Not sure what the Mrs and the two girls are gonna so whilst we are at the game like but sure they’ll cope...

 

With Hedges and Isgrove injured, and Bradshaw leaving I don't see any risk whatsoever of us having 3 Internationals called up.

 

I reckon that game could be on sky, they usually have a league one game or 2 on during the international breaks.

 

Do Walsall have any players of name that might be called up?

 

I bloody hope so. Finish work a bit earlier than usual that day, so can just make kick-off. Just booked for me and the lad.

 

Can't see it called off, but Scotland have some defensive worries so we could end up without Lindsay.

 

When do they usually announce these? If it's earlier, they'll **** my plans right up, the shitcnuts

 

Potentially you could have Davies , Dougal & Lindsay , highly unlikely but not completely out of the question
