For years and years if any one asked me about big Trev's goal against Brighton I would always state he scored from the half way line.After checking it several times it was only 30/35 yards out.A fantastic goal no less but surprising what the years do to your mind.

he was playing in a completely different match actually, a friendly match for Wakefield abd Emley. And heard barnsley were struggling a bit. So he decided to help them out a bit so when he got the ball he wellied it straight over the cathedral, skimmed across Newmillerdam, shot across the Barnsley Centre sky like a meteorite, and landed neatly past the despairing dive of the Brighton goalkeeper. As far as I remember anyway.
I deffo remember Trev scoring one from half way line when he caught the goalie on a walk about. It was an outrageous goal but I cannot remember who the opposition was
