Third time lucky. Worked on my laptop, but not my phone or Kindle. Same internet connection for all three...

He’s an athlete, and a unit when he runs at teams. It was more like the lad we saw for Blackpool in the FA Cup today.

It was a huge step up for him, and many others, but in the long run that tough season in the championship may well do them good. Toughen them up & improve them given the quality of player they were against.

The only concern I had this year was confidence. After the Morais debarcle I was worried he had taken any shred of confidence from the squad. He destroyed them collectively and individually. Thank Christ it looks like BFC have pulled a blinder with Stendel. He looks enthusiastic, organised and positive. And we saw a real team reaction today.

My only nagging doubt is up front. I hope Moore and Bradshaw have their whole heart in it. If not, and I’m mainly thinking Bradshaw as Moore gave them all sorts of problems, it may be better to cash in (£2m?) and sign a couple of young hungry replacements.

I felt for Bradshaw today. Second half in particular he made the right run and got space in the box on a few occasions but the ball wasn’t played or was put too close to the keeper.

He didn’t score - or even have his best game -but he didn’t look like someone going through the motions to me.

If he’s sold it’d be a damn shame as he would form part of a pretty formidable forward line for the season. We won at a canter today but there’s plenty to work and improve on. Once we are properly up and running, full match sharpness, the chances will come for Bradshaw and Moore, I think they’ll take a lot of them too if still here.

Controversially I don’t actually think we were particularly brilliant today performance wise. Very good, don’t get me wrong, but we didn’t win 4-0 as it was a brilliant day where everything came off. I think we were just so much better than them, which is the main reason I’m so encouraged for the season as I don’t think Oxford will struggle, yet looked out of their depth today.

Everything we saw on that pitch today reflected the club as a whole right now.

    Saying nowt else.

I've just successfully watched the highlights on my phone by turning Wi-Fi off and using my mobile data. Apparently that means they can't determine my location. Hope Brexit doesn't muck up the season climax.......

I agree. Oxford weren't a bad side, but in many ways they reminded me of us last season, especially in the early months. They have some talented players and worked hard, but collectively it just wasn't working for them and they were out-played and out-muscled by a much stronger side.

Full credit to their fans though, I've read some very good post-match comments about our team on the Oxford boards. Most of them seemed to be a bit shell-shocked and genuinely surprised at the gap between the two sides. They liked our ground too - more than one person said it was the best they'd been to. Oh, and they think we're a friendly bunch. Well, we knew that already I guess :)
