If you bought a Barnsley shirt tomorrow what name would you have on the back? (Any name you want)

Getting my little lad one and was going to get his name and age on the back but my wife said I can't because if I get his name someone who doesn't know him could shout him and he might get abducted....

Is that really the world we live in now where it's not safe for kids to have a name on their shirt?

No, it's your wife's paranoia. If he's going to be on his own and someone is going to shout his name and he's going to wander off without you hearing or noticing then they could do the same thing by offering sweets/puppies, general snatching or whatever.
