    It’s alright, even if he does go he’ll only get the share of a minutes air time. 59 minutes dedicated to Jos and Wilder.

    I would be surprised if he did given it’s a Q&A and he’s still getting to grips with the English language. It would be great if he was there, mind. I imagine that it’ll be Winkler or GG, probably the former.

    Still a minute more than Dearne give our club even though it's the main local station for the area. Nothing to stop Dearne doing a rival 6-7 every weekday night phone in. Radio Sheffield give us six days a week coverage. They get a hard time of it off some, whilst other media outlets never get called out on.

    Think they are limited due to broadcasting copywrites of EFL agreed stations imo

    I get why they can't do full match live commentary of our games. But nothing should be stopping a Barnsley station doing a Barnsley FC nightly phone in, with interviews from people down at the club. We are lucky we have a Sheffield based station giving us at least some regular coverage or we'd have nothing. If Radio Sheffield decided to get shut of us like we did them a few years ago, I would worry how well our club would be promoted outside of Oakwell.

    Maybe just a monday and friday then. First weekday after a saturday game and last one before the next saturday game. Wednesday only when we have a tuesday night game. Could start with half hour slots and if enough of the people who moan about Radio Sheffield went and tuned in and rang them up, it could be extended to an hour.

    As Gally said there wouldn’t be a great number of callers .
    Radio stations regularly do polls or phone ins , competition etc to gauge the interest of what they should be broadcasting so maybe not enough interest to put on air other than they do at present .
    Not all Barnsley fans listen Dearne FM I know I don’t and not all Dearne FM listeners are Barnsley fans

    Then I would want a refund on my Licence as it wouldn’t cover the whole of South Yorkshire and the North East Derbyshire as it claims it does

    Lucky? I pay as much license fee as a Sheffield United or Wednesday fan yet they are so biased in favour of the two Sheffield clubs that it is hard to believe they serve the whole of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

    You're right there. If Real Madrid were in our region even they would have to take a back seat due to the sheer enormity of the Sheffield giants.

    In case anyone missed it, BFC Summary:-

    - Perhaps bring 1-2 players in but no more if we can.
    - Happy with squad especially the attitude and work ethic and recognises the young age
    - No real leader in the squad and we need to build a winning mentality
    - Recognises challenge of working through agents, some good and some bad but ok
    - Not a big fan of VAR although he (Winkler) enjoyed World Cup
    - He thinks Sheff Wed will do ok our of local teams
    - Enjoying living in Tarn but didn't have high expectations based on where he himself is from
