The EFL should deduct clubs points for it instead of giving clubs an easy cop out of a fine. Points deduction is the only way to stop clubs cheating & bending the rules to suit
Chelsea is a good case in point . So Roman paid 130 million for Chelsea ; and let's say he s used 500 million of his own money propping the club up . What would Chelsea be worth today if he sold up ? 1.5 billion , something like that ? I guess it's why so many foreign owners are happy to gamble a clubs future . I don't know if this is a good or bad thing for the English game , but I would question where the additional value comes from which at a guess is higher TV subscriptions / land value/ match day ticket prices .
