    Oh Colombia will be tough

    but Colombia then Sweden/Switzerland then Russia/Denmark/Croatia/Spain is better than Japan then Brazil/Mexico then Portugal/Uruguay/France/Argentina

    Provided we get through of course it is the far better option

    I'd lay odds on Belgium go further than us. We'll probably go out in last 16 rather than last 8. There's a reason why group runners up rarely make it all the way.

    Let's take England out of the equation. There's too much emotive sentiment.
    If you were a fan of say, Denmark, and you'd been presented with the two routes to the final we had yesterday......and then were told your life depended on Denmark getting to the final.....which route would you pick?
    I know which one I'd pick even though there's no guarantee of Denmark even getting past Colombia.

    It could also be argued that Colombia, Denmark and Switzerland are very happy with the outcome aswell
