Anybody on here thinking that x000 posts to their name makes them more informed, funnier, or in any way superior to any other member is living in a dream world. I couldn't give a toss how many posts (or likes) folk have. Everybody's opinion is equally valid until such time as someone else proves it to be codswallop. (note - this is a general comment and is not specifically aimed at pontyender)
I think a few people need to stop taking themselves or this site too seriously. It’s an Internet forum for goodness sake. If it had been just a football forum then it would have been closed down years ago. From time to time, especially when it gets too political, admin have managed it reasonably well. Imagine this place to be a pub, because that’s roughly what it is, a place for people to socialise and have a bit of a laugh. The main theme is always BFC but if it was the be all an end all, it would be a pretty **** place to hang out.
Quite often there is a big clue in the title For example Points total needed and Mills out for Saturday, JM says expect changes good chance they are football related Labour to sweep London in local elections with best result for any party since 1968, new pole says and Pile Cream Probably not very relevant so no need to read How do you feel about non Barnsley FC football threads such as Just listening Joey Barton autobiography and £12m written off. Greed 1 - 0 FFP are they OK or dont you like those either
So you don’t like this, that or the other. And you’re not struck on people with such and such points of views - so you don’t want to discuss owt with them. .......... But you do like a good debate. LOL !!! Tha couldn’t make it up
That certainly isn't what I meant. The OP had the opportunity to read the site as a guest before deciding to join. You don't then moan later it isn't what you thought it was. To use the pub analogy, it's like going back to a bar a few times and then complaining that it serves food and caters for kids, spoiling your enjoyment of the beer. If you don't like what you see, you don't go back a second time.
To do the pub analogy further it's like parking your car in a breeds fayre carpark every day and seeing the banners outside for a kids play area and advertising children's parties, watching kids go in and out every day before plucking up the courage to go in. Not saying anything but revisiting every day only to kick off to the barmaid two weeks later that this is supposed to be a pub what the hell are kids doing in? Or it's like going down Wellington Street on a Saturday night and complaining that Che bar was a bit rowdy as it's supposed to be a bar
Never saw this post before but now I get it. A Celtic fan from Rotherham posting on the Barnsley site, you're the Momentum plant. Shame how your man is further from power than ever!
Although if I can be serious for a minute, if you really believe that one of your Labour-supporting neighbours is posting anti-Labour stuff on this site and others then you may be suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and should see your GP.
Ray, You're ignoring a few inconvenient facts. That you used to post on here as GloriaStitts before being banned. That you post pro-Labour stuff on your Facebook page and at the same time anti-Labour stuff on here and elsewhere. I'm not knocking you for it but you do have Asperger's so don't slag people off for being mentally ill. I don't understand why someone with mental health issues has a survival of the fittest mentality. It's not as if you're part of any master race. The opposite really given your disorder.
Actually you have a very high ‘ likes’ to ‘message‘ ratio , which makes me think that you do give a toss about likes , the ‘or likes’ in brackets was a give away
