I'm sure Sam and Moyes will be in demand come November/December time.
It's as if these clubs forget why they brought them in, in the first place.
Everton finished 8th in the league. Only Burnley who were 7th would have had a smaller budget of the teams above them. Not sure what was expected.

Not sure about that as they are 4th highest spenders over the last few seasons - was it 150 million last summer? Spent 45 million on Sigurssond

I'm terms of wage budget I'd think so. Yes they have spent more recently but they had a poor squad before that. Plus transfer fees in that time have shot up so it's not really a accurate comparison.

It is when you can't spend what you haven't got. 150 million in one transfer window is a lot by any stretch of the imagination. Doesn't matter if they had a poor squad Koeman was given the means to do something about it.

Another club who have got round the financial fair play by have back door sponsorship deals.

Got at least £75m in transfers with Lukaku’s fee alone so nothing like £150m really

Still had to be spent - Soton made more than that and spent nowhere near that amount. Everton have spent just under 245 million in 2 seasons
